If you don't have any warranty from gateway, then it will cost you $299+tax (that includes shipping). Well at least whats what it would have cost 1yr ago when i was a gateway tech. So... you might want to consider getting a new cheap one if you don't use it for much. You can get some low end laptops, or refurbished ones at around that price. Check tigerdirect.ca, or any local computer store for a cheap laptop.
