The VGA port (unless your laptop has strangely coloured ports) and you need a VGA cable which you should be able to obtain from the nearest computer store.

You'll need to make sure you send it a signal at a resolution the LCD can handle (TVs can't necessarily handle all computer display modes, even if they have VGA or DVI connectors on them), a HDTV signal like 1280×720 at 60 Hz (known as 720p60 in HDTV land) should work and is probably the minimum you'd be using. If it can handle full HD then 1920×1080 at 60 Hz (1080p60 in HDTV land) would become the best display mode to send. It probably won't handle anything above 60 Hz refresh rate so don't bother going above that and even if it does it's still a bad idea (since LCD's drop frames when run above the optimum refresh rate giving jerky motion).

You might be able to run it at another resolution, reading the manual (which I'm pretty much certain you haven't done) might provide you with clues in that area, if you can't run it at the same resolution as your laptops LCD then you'll probably want to have only one in use or set it up as a multi-monitor setup (which does have its advantages).
