I don't own it, but it is a good deal for the hardware you get. The 64-bit processor is good but make sure you get a 64-bit version of Windows with that. The only down side, and this is purely opinionated, is that it has an AMD processor. I think the new Intel chips are far superior to the AMD. In the old days of the Pentium 3, 4 and Celeron, AMD chips blew Intels out of the water. However, these days Intel has figured out their stuff. I also am a Mac owner, but have forever used PCs as well. I have Windows on my Apple laptop. The thing that worries me about this computer is that you are getting 3GB ram, 160GB HD, 2GHz 64-bit process, etc etc... for a cheap price; this makes me think that the hardware (while being "fast") might be of less than average quality. You may look further into this. And don't buy Acer. It is not a good brand. It is a cheap brand. A computer is an investment, invest wisely. Buying Acer would be like buying fake brand name products; they look the same, they are cheaper, but they will break way before the brand names will. HP has some street credit, I have owned a few. But just know what you're buying and make sure to get a warranty.
