join classified into 2 types.
1.inner join
2.outer join

outer join is further classified into 2 types and they are
1.right outer join or right join
2.left outer join or left join.

Join query is mostly used to find multiple record of table field . At the same time join type followed these way
1.Innerjoin
2.Outer Join
Left outer join and Right outer Join
Inner join is mostly to find occurate of data to finding two or three ralated tables of field way of key relation ship .
