Pc laptop dvd software transfer?

i lost my dvd software on my laptop a number of months ago. i have been trying ever since to replace it with another version. ive tried online free software but they all seem to be trial versions with the exception of one 'avs player' which is really crap. anyways i have powerdvd 6 software on a pc is their any way of coping this software and transferring it onto my laptop where i want it? (i dont have the disk)

Why not use VLC? It's free and can play DVDs.
