Price of a gaming tower?

i would like to get a custom built tower for one purpose:

GAMING.

i dont really want to spend ridiculous amount of dough, but i dont want to cheapen out either. but i want a computer that:

-has a video card good enough for most games out there
-a good strong cpu
-1gb of RAM
-no more than 50gb of space
-NO SPECIAL SOFTWARE that will jack up the price
-decent soundcard
-ethernet port of course

if im forgetting something, feel free to add

but basically i want to know how much i would be spending for a pc that is basically just for online/not online gaming?
