Free Dial-up Service Website?

I found a free dial up service that only services MI, I live in MI and am a bit weery about this but there site http://www.dialinfree.net/ has nothing about hidden charges what so ever, they claim they do not have timers on your usage, the only info you need is to give them a valid email, no software is installed on your pc, and it has local numbers for every city so no charges will be put on your bill. plus there is absolutly nothing about hidden charges i looked everywhere, wouldn't they have to by law say something about hidden charges if there were any?

also i connected to their internet for about 40 minutes and got scared and disconnected but nothing really happened to my pc and no charges showed on my phone bill.

they claim they get there money from sending you email ads and displaying ads on their site.

do you guys think this is safe?

There are two business models on the internet - paid and ads. Google doesn't charge you for using their search engine, Yahoo doesn't charge you for getting your question answered. I'm not saying that I'm sure that dialinfree is legitimate, but it certainly could be, and from what you say (no bill), it sounds as if it is. I'd print the pages that claim that there are no fees or charges, just in case, but I wouldn't worry too much.
