TRANSFER Videos to Ipod Touch 2G?

Instead of paying for movies,videos, tv series etc. on iTunes.
can i download on my PC and CONVERT or TRANSFER to the ipod touch?

of course, download video on PC and use converter, after this transfer on ipod...
