Scrum Project Management techniuque is different from traditional approaches. Scrum accepts the fact that things are going to change and takes an empirical approach. In Scrum work is delivered in "sprints" of 2-4 weeks. Each sprint delivers a single, usable piece of work called the "product increment". This product increment is immediately available for evaluation and use by the customer at the end of a sprint. The set of features that go into a sprint come from the Product backlog.Scrum is facilitated by a ScrumMaster, whose primary job is to remove impediments to the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal. The ScrumMaster is not the leader of the team (as they are self-organizing) but acts as a buffer between the team and any distracting. Here is Good presentation on Scrum Project Management
