Safari Dicor or Scorpio which one?

Hi, I want to buy a Tata Safari Dicor 2.2, base version (Rs 7.6 lacks ex showroom). I was reading some reviews on other sites which did not speak too good of this vehicle. While the Scorpio is also in a similar price, I don't like the looks of it so much. I agree on the poor quality of interior plastics but I am looking beyond that now. I have always wanted to own an SUV & my budget supports this today. I will travel within Mumbai city & sometimes on the national highway to Gujarat. What is your frank opinion on this car?

My Dear Friend, Tata Safari is a better vehicle overall in terms of fuel efficiency, engine performance and ride quality. Though Mahindra Scorpio is better in terms of interiors and room space, it does not have a stable high speed and highway performance, further, it does not enjoy the after sales service network that the safari enjoys.
