Optical Mouse:- An optical mouse has no ball. Instead, it uses an infrared sensor to track movements over a surface. It is used directly on a desktop and does not need a mouse pad.
Some General Mouse Tips to clean an optical mouse:
Do not eat in front of computers to keep crumbs away from mice. Mice will easily pick up crumbs.
Use a pair of tweezers to pull out debris and build-up in the optical mouse's eyehole. Just a strand of hair can cause problems with a mouse's LED sensor.
Cover mouths and noses during sneezes, especially when near computers.
Avoid smoking near computers.
Keep cats away from computers. Mice will easily pick up cat hair.
